After receiving my credential in January of 1998, I have been gaining valuable experience by substituting for several districts in Butte County. For the month of March, I will be teaching in a first grade class as a long term substitue. I look forward to the experience of planning and implementing an integrated thematic unit based on the Foss plants unit.

During Spring of 1998, I will be working on an Electronic Portfolio Project with Dr. Guenter, Professor of Arts Education/Curriculum and Instruction at California State University, Chico. This opportunity is providing me with valuable knowledge and experience that I will take with me to my classroom and use in student assessment.
